The Joshua Tree

This landmark copper beech tree at my school is named after one of our former students, who died suddenly a few years ago. It is at its autumn best right now.

We took the nursery children out to the grounds to play, and set up my fire pit ready for toasting marshmallows on skewers (We're doing fireworks-night themed activities all week).

Again, we had an extended outdoor play session this afternoon. So good to be outside!

Back home, I keep falling asleep in front of the TV. Oh dear.
