Spiced Up

Spiced up a dreary rainy day by popping to the village cafe for a gingerbread spiced latte. Thanks to wifi I can carry on working there and had a productive hour writing magazine copy.

On the spicing things up theme I spruced up my outfit with new plum gloves to finally replace a pair I left on a train two years ago (some of my long term blip followers may remember). Sadly the new ones aren't leather like the old pair but I do love the colour.

Cooked up the Cavelo Nero brought in the farm shop yesterday and spiced it up with chilli flakes and red peppers. Spanish black cabbage is high in minerals and anti oxidants. Determined to avoid getting a full blown cold after feeling a bit of a chill and sore throat brewing since Monday.
