Fireplace, St Martin's Priory, Canterbury

This magnificent shield decorates the fireplace in the room in which today's conference was held. The event went well, and I'm really pleased that I took the trouble to travel all the way to Kent for it.

The only drawback has been the return rail journey back to Edinburgh from Kings Cross, heavily delayed due to vandalism to a train ahead of us on the line near Grantham. The other train was so badly damaged by children throwing rocks at it that it broke down and blocked the line for over an hour and a half before it was eventually rescued. Unfortunately we got stuck in the backlog.
