Boys

I've been in Bicester today (or somewhere near to Bicester, anyway) to attend a training day at Ellie H's university. It was the most stunning drive down...the perfect mixture of what makes English winter so utterly mesmerising: clear blue skies, a low slung sun, mist rising from the frost covered fields and endless orange leaves.

I'm still trying to figure out if the day was really a good use of my time but if nothing else, it was good to see EH in her study setting and meet some of her people.

The obvious added bonus was a trip to the Oxford Moores and hang out with the coolest boys in town. R's reading and writing has totally transformed since I saw him last. He wrote me a note, completely unaided and it was him reading me a bedtime story tonight. What a boy. J was also on excellent form, of course.
