At Symonds Yat: Old dogs last days x

A Saturday afternoon walk with a friend around the beautiful tracks of Symonds Yat. This lady and her husband and their 3 dogs are on holiday from Poole. This was the only place they could come on holiday that would take their 3 doggy friends.

This faithful friend, now 15 years old was recovering from surgery. He had happily got used to life on wheels and was formally part of the push chair brigade. Like a child following conversations, and waiting his turn to be acknowledged and possibly working out how to get a lick from an ice cream later.

I love the faithfulness returned by his human friend. Not left at home, or in kennels. But bought not only on the outing, but also on the holiday. Says more than words. x
