Respite

Well, another 2 hours of sleep this morning would have been good...

The alarm went at 7am. 5 hours.

Work was good - enough to keep me busy, but not enough to create pressure. It has been interesting so far. In 3 days I've learned more about what goes on in a parliament than I had in the previous 30 years.

St Bryce Kirk is next door to the office. It runs a cafe - staffed mostly by volunteers by the looks of it, which means home baked cakes and scones.

Anyway, I had lunch there today. The tranquil atmosphere is noticeable, and the decor is part of it - I couldn't find a way to Blip the stained glass windows.
