Nuevo Vallarta Marina

Even though I say we are in Puerto Vallarta, we are technically residing in Nuevo Vallarta which is a planned resort community twenty minutes north of the city. When we visited PV during our work years, we always tended to avoid Nuevo Vallarta with its high-rise hotels, its all-inclusive resorts, and its predominance of English. While we still would not like this atmosphere for full time living, it does make a nice break from the every day. It is especially fun with such a great group of volleyball playing friends. We occupy rooms on the sixth floor of Paradise Village, which provide a nice view of the new resort under construction across the marina.
