George (Day 916)

It was a lovely wander up the hill with the dogs this morning, though I was tired having spent too long in the garden watching the aurora borealis last night. The sky this morning was clear and there was very little in the way of wind. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Back at home, I got organised and headed off to work, dropping the woofers off at Mum's on the way.
The task for today was starting the rip out of a bathroom which I will be spending the next couple of weeks refitting. I have cut off two of the plasterboard walls and the horrible tiles which covered them, and spent far too long removing half the lino in the room. Tomorrow I will begin re-doing pipework for the new shower and bath.
The job is next to George's house and it was good to have a bit of a blether to him when I stopped for lunch. Lunchtime entertainment was provided by George bringing his horses in from the field. The extra today is just because I liked it.
