Waiting on Weather

Quite a decent crossing across the Firth last night.  Once home and unpacked we were rewarded with a decent Aurora light show.

So a new day and CMC is away into Kirkwall for a meeting of the Retired Teachers at the Lynfield.

I have been a quick walk ahead of the much forecast rain.  In our absence every leaf has been stripped off the trees in the Gyre Plantings.  The wind is meant to stay up for the next 6 days and already the Flow is increasingly white.  I have taken in the coal and wood for a cosy evening.
