After a Wild Night....

A big storm passed through Marlborough from Nelson during the early hours of the morning. Somewhere in the top of the South some hapless family’s trampoline took off in the gale force winds and hit a electrical sub-station. The electricity supply to the entire top of the South Island was cut off from 2.45am for two hours. I’d got on to a local Facebook page and caught up with all the drama from folk’s comments. It was cold but sunny from dawn onwards.
