At Beacon Point

A very warm welcome to blipper 'Gitama', who is staying in Wanaka tonight.  I hope you have a lovely time here, and take many wonderful photos of our beautiful scenery.  Looking forward to meeting you at morning tea tomorrow.

What a beautiful day it is after all the rain and snow we got overnight.  Lots of people were out this morning capturing the snow covered mountains, before it melted in the heat of the noon day sun.  In the background of this photo is Mt Gold.

I went to croquet, but we didn't play, as the lawns were too wet!  Instead I went for a nice walk by the lake, clocking up my 8,000 steps. (Extra 2).   When I was at Beacon Point a small bus load of photographers arrived, so I wasn't on my own for long.  Extra 1.  (I wonder if she is a blipper).

I am now heading off to school to collect little 'h' take her to Jazz dance, then home to Luggate for a family dinner.  Looking forward to that.

I will be taking photos of the yachting tomorrow night, so will be posting a bit later than usual.
