Portrait Night

A very active and sociable camera club evening. The aim was to learn about the effects of moving the light source and/or subject to balance lighting often with a reflector to help. We had several different setups around the hall with plenty of the more experienced members to advise plus three professional models. I think everyone was able to have plenty of shooting opportunities and learned something; many were shooting manual for the first time ever.

This is one of my few shots of the evening of a club member who was willing to stand in front of the camera.
