Playtime.....

Well...we've all had a very happy evening and a great time playing together!

I had been in the loft and brought down much loved Playmobil and Fischer Price toys. Some needed a wash after years in hibernation even though they'd been carefully packed away in boxes. I enjoyed setting them up ready for the off. Also to hand good old UNO and paper and colouring pencils. I felt the old "hat" return very comfortably.

The boys arrived and gave their parents a glancing wave...and then set to with wonderful creative play. A little bit of jostling for the Ferrari but they really do play so cooperatively and it passed from one to the other without too much argument. 

Dinner at 6, provided by Mum and they ate so well. The two youngest changed into pj s, then ready for more play before their parents returned. Good reports from teachers...of course. 

And we've tidied up and are rather tired! It's a responsibility looking after children other than your own but I hope it happens again with these four young men. It was a real privilege! 

Now to have our dinner!
