Wishbone Ash ~ Time Was

I've been listening to some old Wishbone Ash from the early 1970s in the car - and this track features.  Lyrically and vocally the Ash were never that great, but oh, those twin guitar lines, the great drumming and the intricate bass lines.  Time was they were a fabulous band to see live - they still are in fact, although only guitarist Andy Powell remains of the original line up.

So, time was and time is.  We're back to Eliot: time for you, and time for me, time yet for a hundred indecisions as Prufrock would have it. 

You can't tell by looking but this old dress watch of mine (time was) is definitely ticking for this week's Tiny Tuesday challenge with the letter "T" (time is).

Not a particularly notable day, but not unpleasant either.  It has rained a lot here, which has meant a very dark and gloomy day in Bristol.  But then, it is November in the South West of England.  I was due to inspect a site with clients this afternoon for work, but fortunately their earlier meeting meant that the original timings went awry and it as too dark by the time they got to me (not to mention far too wet for comfort).  So I did at least stay dry!

I get the bike back from its first service tomorrow (they've had it overnight as there were various additional things that needed doing) - so there's definitely something to look forward to tomorrow, provided of course, that it is dry!  Fingers crossed for that ...
