Dense and Sensibility.....

At this time of year, we're plagued by shoplifters, trying to steal our gift sets. God knows why - they're pretty ghastly.

Today, I caught a wee teenager trying to stuff 4 huge boxes of Beyoncé into a tiny carrier bag, and after telling him what I thought, I said "I'm sure your mother would be horrified to hear about this!"

"Aye," he agreed sadly, "she would. She's never been caught."

Reader, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.....
