The thin blue line.......

.....took a quick turn along the sea front this morning (emphasis being on the 'quick', there was a chill wind!) whilst on the cat food  dash to find that Phase 1 of the new offshore wind farm now seems to be operational.....or it's maybe being tested, anyway the vanes were going round. There seems to be wildly differing local opinions as to whether it's a 'good thing' or a 'bad thing'.....personally I really can't understand what the problem is, way better than a pit head, a slag heap or a coal-powered power station surely?
