The day we met Boycie

Being a fan of Only Fools & Horses it was only right that I made the trip up to Bristol to buy John Challis' new book on the day that he would be appearing at Waterstones to sign it.

Sometimes when you meet your heroes it can be a bit of a disappointment, as some celebrities are not always as you would imagine them to be. This certainly wasn't the case with John Challis, even though there was a large crowd of people wanting to see him, he made time for all of us, even chatting to me "in character" for a little while.

Luckily for him the Driscoll Brothers hadn't followed him to Bristol today :-)
