IN THE GARDEN:

I’ve been running round the garden like a headless chook, wondering which blip to put up. My irises are beautiful, but it is a dreadful blustery day, & they’re either doing handstands or lying on the ground; so I had to fall back on my rhodos. They are upright, matronly & sedate & none of them swinging their hips like hulu girls. It is quite tricky photographing in the wind ! I have a gorgeous orange Iris ‘Viva Mexico’; it didn’t look right with the pinks so I had to pop the tree peony in to fill the gap. They’re promising more rain - it looks quite close !
