Royal Exchange

currently, theatre, bars, galleries, cafes etc but once the place where Manchester's merchants met to do business.  The board still displays the exchange prices on the day that it closed 31st December 1968.  Interesting day on a guided tour of here and the John Rylands Library (extra)   : )
