eats, shoots, leaves

I've had a nice peaceful day. It started with a heavy frost and I went out to try to capture the leaves falling from the horse chestnut tree, but they were too quick for me! instead I took some photos of these oak leaves on the surface of the frozen pond and played about with them in Photoshop (see extra).

Later on, I put the vegetable garden to bed - took down the frosted beans and peas. There is still plenty of lovely kale which will grow throughout the winter.

D is cooking the tea tonight - hope he finds some new vegetables to add to my list. Almost at 30!
