scaling the rocher

Got up early and headed to Dieulefit market. Did a bit of scouting around the stalls...an Irish baker in particular...

Got home, had some lunch and then Tash and Ryan decided to give it a go. The rocher was something they'd wanted to try the last time they were in Les Pilles, but they didn't have the right equipment. As they'd just come from a climbing trip in Cassis, they had everything they needed this time :)

Ryan scaled the side of it first, reaching the flag up top and then Tash followed. This picture shows Tash abseiling back down - what a moment. So brave!

Dinner at the Charrette Bleue that evening topped off a pretty amazing day.
