Mahonia Leaves

A walk in Maxwell Park this morning before meeting friends for lunch. There was so much unsightly debris left lying around after last night's fireworks. Why don't people not put their rubbish in a bin or take it home!

Plenty of fallen leaves to scuff through but I was looking for a specific plant  and I wasn't disappointed. At this time of year the mahonia leaves turn this beautiful shade of red .... lovely to look at but very jaggy .... handling not recommended! I wanted to show the flowers as well so have added them in the extras.
