There is DEFINITELY a carrot down there Kirsty!

We had a stir-fry last night and half way through our meal Pippin got out of bed to see if there was any cleaning up she needed to do. There's a gap down the side of the cooker and, every so often, something falls down there and Pippin tries to get it out. Which is what was happening here.

She was determined there was something in there - tried to stick her nose in, used her paw to try and reach it, even stuck her bum in the air with the effort! Unfortunately, I was too slow to get that shot cos she heard us laughing and looked round to see what the noise was all about.

She is quite dextrous though, and can bend her paw round the door to open it, and uses it to hold onto things, but this gap is too narrow for her paw to be able to get very far down it.

Anyway, eventually she turned to me in exasperation with a look on her face that said "Kirsty, there is definitely something in there. Please get it out for me!"

My Mum said there wasn't, and told her to go back to bed, but Pippin persisted, so I went over and got down on my hands and knees and, sure enough, there was a bit of carrot! And, although it was a very thin sliver, Pippin gobbled it up and seemed satisfied that she had done her job with tidying up, and went back to bed!
