The Meadows

A beautiful sunny day for getting some useful work done at the allotment.  Rampant nasturtiums and ropey runner beans are now heaped in a large pile ready for composting. 

Later in the afternoon I met up with S and K at McEwan Hall to see Gordon Brown on his publicity tour for his new memoir.   

The light was beautiful as I crossed the Meadows and I took this photo to compare with the same scene almost exactly one month ago.
