Bonfire night

After a fairly quiet day we decided to go down to the Links to see the city firework display. It was a perfect night and there seemed to be thousands of folk present. It was a fantastic display - the best I've ever seen in the Granite City and all set to music. A far cry from some squibs, sparklers, bangers and a Catherine wheel in the back garden which was what we enjoyed as kids. It was, however, a fairly cold night so a cocktail was required to warm us up.
