Bonfire Night

The City Council has waged a war against Bonfires this year, threatening that any reported being built will be taken away and the builders charged with fly tipping.
They even set up an "anonymous" report line for complaints.
So this year instead of bonfires being built days before November 5th, there were none to be seen this morning, and even up to lunch time, but after that they appeared with remarkable speed.
As I post this they are lighting up the sky!
On the one hand logic says they are a nuisance leave a lot of mess and are dangerous, but the heart says.
We love em! and would miss them as they are a part of our annual tradition, connecting even us oldies with our long lost childhood.
