A brief visit from Luke

It was beautifully sunny and bright this morning, but rather cold - I went for a short run and at that time of the morning it was 5C. I do love these bright, crisp days of winter.

Luke went out with his friends last night and got home at 6am! So here is after a very late night, probably not looking as sunny and bright as the day was!

I spent the morning working on my camera group 'homework' which was to take some action shots and then using Photomerge in Photoshop to combine them into one image - mine look a bit messy so I did not blip it so the portrait of Luke was a last minute alternative! I am about to drop Luke at the station to get the train to City Airport - we won't see him again until Christmas.

Its such a pleasure getting passports renewed in the UK - fill out the form, drop it off at the Post Office, and then a week later the new passport arrives. Wonderfully efficient! We are all up to date again, as three of ours were all due to expire at the same time.
