A Divine Appointment

I was busy at my desk today and I finally pulled myself away in time to go for a walk and watch the sunset. I was heading toward a nearby park where the sky is huge, but at the last minute I decided to pull into the parking area by the lake instead. I’m so glad I did. The sunset was again beautiful and I love to see the colours of the setting sun against the water. Also, early in my walk I met someone who needed some compassion and said she was grateful for our short conversation. I’m glad I followed my impulse. Though I prefer to call it a divine appointment.
