Blueskin Bay

Relived something from my long ago youth today & took a railcar from Dunedin to Waitati & back.
Well actually did it in reverse as we used to travel on it from Waitati to Dunedin.
It brought back memories of holidays with the grandparents, up early on a Friday morning, in to town on the railcar to go shopping, then home on the bus over the old road.
One of those memories which make you sad & happy at the same time.
In any case it's a brilliant trip if you get a chance to do it - I must be a bit of a trainspotter at heart as all trains seem to scream out the magic & mystery of the Orient Express.
