Harry
Today has been all about Harry and his sporting pursuits.
We were all on the road at 7.45 am (horrors for Sunday morning and the after the big event last night) off to the Tennis Centre for their competition games. Both Ella and Harry had some success with their singles and doubles, both are good wee tennis players. It was very very windy and chilly, I found a sheltered corner in the corporate boxes for a couple of hours and was able to watch both of them from there.
Scrummy brunch followed at Lyall Bay called the Spruce Goose, a funky and extremely popular spot over lookng the sea, stunning views (extra).
From there we were off to the ASB Stadium to watch Harry play indoor soccer....a game which is fast and furious.
We flagged swimming which was scheduled for 5.30, as we had a visitor and shared a fabulous platter of yummy cheeses and a very nice wine.
The concert last night was a roaring success, amazing how the organisers can put together a dance show of 400 dancers (which loosely tells the story of The Wizard of Oz with a modern twist), incredible talents from the tiny tots (so cute) to the older girls and boys.
