Eclectic Collections
Just back from a little road trip to Portland, Maine with a friend. These Chinese lanterns were from sister-in-law's garden. "Haze" as she is affectionately nick-named by her family is an attorney who specializes in providing legal services for the down and out, the underdogs. She is 68 years old and still going strong. A newly single woman whose house is filled with so many eclectic collections of natural and man made trinkets. We had a very interesting and lively 24 hours with her. Her gardens are beautiful and the rural nature of her home and yard are being threatened by a suspicious change in zoning that would have a developer build a high density 150 homes on 45 acres in a flood zone. The adjoining properties have 2 acre minimums and are developed responsibly and with thought to the environment. We'll know on Tuesday after the voting day, the zoning change can be challenged.
Back blip for yesterday is here.
