Yeovil's players look on anxiously as Otis Khan (you can just about see his head between the two players in the centre of the goal) steps up to take a penalty in today's FA Cup tie at home to Southend. They needed have worried as he despatched it confidently into the bottom corner.

In an exciting game, Yeovil played really well for the second week running, could well have scored more and thoroughly deserved to maintain their reputation for beating teams from higher divisions in the Cup. We're finally beginning to look like a decent team.

Kate & Sophie are staying overnight as, sadly, Kate had to attend the funeral of a school friend, struck down by a heart attack at just 32. The Bridgwater carnival is on tonight and as all roads are closed and the town comes to a standstill, there is no way they could get home.
