We went for a walk in the mountains today. We had light rainfall so didn’t walk the full circuit intended. We were quite puffed out but the elevation is about 4,500 feet so it was to be expected. We were a bit disappointed that in making some of the paths more accessible they have stripped away the vegetation which usually results in carpets of wild flowers in the spring, we hope this is just a one off.
