Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon

On our first day in Myanmar it was a real privilege to visit this fabulous temple (the finest in South East Asia?) on a Saturday morning, when all the people were there making their devotions and looking their finest, with hardly any other tourists there. This was at 'Tuesday Corner'  - the shrines for each day of the week were getting plenty of attention today.
