leavings

the flytrap is moving into dormancy for the winter. this means it looks like it's dying. the hard and heavy rains and high winds around here haven't helped it either. a little trimming was in order.

i was thinking today that i haven't said much about my life lately and what is happening, only my feelings and abstractions. so here is a laundry list.

- next week is the halfway point in the semester
- i still miss fort worth terribly
- i work two jobs, one as a tutor for the UT women's swimming team and the other as a program coordinator at the annette strauss institute for civic participation
- i went to sxsw eco this week
- i'm pretty firmly settled on taking a track doing conservation policy
- i'm taking hours in the biology department as well as within my policy school
- i still love my house
- if you're ever in austin you can stay there for free

and for those of you who made it this far, i bought a lot of fancy new underwear today. the end!
