The flock

A huge flock of pigeons - hundreds of birds - were flying around the spire of the town hall as I walked in to Berwick after work this afternoon. Hoping to record the sight, I got the camera out of my bag, by which time the birds had swooped down and settled on several nearby rooftops, including this one. And there they stayed! And didn't take to the air again until I was hurrying for the bus...
