Wanaka

This is where I'm retiring to. Wanaka ticks all my boxes. Definitely need to spend much longer here, and far more regularly.

We started our day with a walk up Mt Iron with 360 degree views around Wanaka. We then spent an hour in the outdoor maze at Puzzling World which took up a good 5km and 1 hour to complete (with a lot of coaxing from me for the rest of them not to give up)!

Then off to the lake to photograph #thatwanakatree, apparently the most photographed tree in the world. Definitely not on par with the others, but I had to give it a go. Kiddos went swimming in the lake, it was so beautiful and clear.

We traveled out towards the Haast pass, saw the Blue pools and stayed at Fantail Falls.
