Sunlit Lupins

I went out just after 7 a.m. and took this photo of the sun lighting up the lupins and The Peninsula at Bremner Bay.  After b/fast I mowed the lawns, so pleased that I got them done, as it has been raining off and on for the rest of the day.

I went to Croquet this afternoon, and surprise, surprise, there 12 of us there, so we put up 3 courts, and had a couple of games, sometimes in the rain, and sometimes in the sun.  We packed up before afternoon tea, then headed for home.  I still had 1,000 more steps to do, so stopped at the park on the way home.  Pleased to get it done, as now the rain has settled in.  Snow on the mountains in the forecast.
