Spic and span
A day of getting organised for our special guest, who arrives very late this evening. The place is spic and span. My 'gym' is returned to its main use - a bedroom, so my exercise bike has been put into the cupboard for a few days. Can’t say I'm too upset...
I'm quite stiff from yesterday’s ladder climbing, so thoughts of wielding a badminton racket are rather pie in the skyI fear. But my new friend from yesterday did say that there was a person with a new knee who seemed to be managing, which is encouraging.
I gave Archie a wee whizz over with the clippers, and he had a proper bath tonight after his walk. Most days he just gets a paw'n'beard wash.
I took him to the Links with his favourite toy, the giant frisbee. He has eyes for nothing else - no doggies interest him at all. In fact, it's a proper bother for him to have to waste precious playtime to poo. I just wish he'd give it back without a fight.
Politics is fun at the moment - all those (mainly older) men getting caught out. Makes a change from Brexit, which, of course, is what they should be concentrating on!
