A nostalgic trip...

...to Blackpool this afternoon...
John remembers family holidays here when he was but a lad ;)
I recall our PCGE course from Carnegie had an end of year day out in 1977 - Big Dipper, Tower and cricket on the beach all compulsory...
Today we went to the top of the tower, but it was a Merlin "experience" as well as an experience (complete with 4D cinema including waterspray!)
Had lunch in the Tower Ballroom - see extra for Last Tango in Blackpool(?) - and a wander down the pier too ;)
