This beast was found staring at me this morning, it had to be blipped. Am not afraid of spiders but am sure it was lying in wait to pounce.
Latin name: Tegenaria duellica
Size: Body and head 10mms to 14mms. Legs 50 to 60mms
Distribution: Found throughout the UK.
Months seen: All year
Food: Flies, mites, fearty women, men, sheep and other small insects
Habitat: Found in sheds, garages, attics and conservatories.
