Lindisfarne

Home today. We looked at the map book (and yes was proper road atlas not Google Maps!) and decided to head down the A1, but instead of cutting across country diagonally to get to it we meandered across and slightly 'north' so that we could visit Lindisfane.
We just made the tides and so got to see a scaffolded site! The views coming back were much better and I photographed curlew, redshanks, oystercatchers and a swan in flight. I chose this shot though because I liked the perspective.
Home to a mountain of washing and a lot of chores and school work before I head back to work on tuesday. Lovely holiday though and sis had some seriously good news while we were away so fingers crossed and watch this space
