New Quay

Mr M and I had a trip out today to New Quay with the aim of seeing some dolphins. We were reliably informed that the conditions were perfect and that there were plenty of dolphins to be seen.

One and a half hours later, £30 lighter, quite a bit colder and a little nauseous we had glimpsed the fleeting head of seal and numerous sea birds (yawn) but NO DOLPHINS.

Disappointed doesn't even come close.

An americano and a piece of carrot cake slightly dulled the pain.
