No, he didn't land in the sea; actual landing in extras.
A more laidback day, after the activity of the last few days. To the market to buy food for lunch, barbie on the terrace, and in the afternoon we went to Velilla beach, at the far end of Almuñecar. It's a nice little beach, but despite appearances it was not really warm enough for swimming (though there were Germans doing so).
In the evening we went to the Casa de la Cultura to see Sofia Coppola's Beguiled, dubbed into Spanish. The first scene is in the shade of a forest, a young girl skipping along picking mushrooms. Thereafter it got darker and darker. The indoor scenes were of such Stygian gloom that we could barely see the characters' faces; I never figured out which girl was which, and not being able to see what was going on made it even harder to follow than it already was being in Spanish. Luckily the plot is not complicated. It seemed a shame that the actors put in all that effort and you couldn't even see them half the time.
We thought all this was deliberate on Coppola's part, the gloom contributing to the sense of foreboding, and/or realistically portraying life by candlelight. But when we got home we viewed a trailer on my laptop, and to our astonishment, while the light was not dazzling, scenes that had been barely discernible were bright and golden. I think there was a problem with the projector somehow ... anyway I was not that keen on the film, lit or not; it seemed a bit simplistic.
