This is her new afternoon spot.  And it has to be cushion free.  If we put a cushion down, she just finds somewhere else to sleep.

Home Office today.  You don't say that you're working from home, you say "Morgen mache ich Home Office".  And it wasn't the stress free day i had been hoping for.

Because Tuesday was a holiday a lot of computer jobs didn't run early on Wednesday morning, which meant that everything was out of sync this morning.  Which meant lots of people phoned me. 

I found the cause very early on, and set about repairing it.  Not our fault again.

My cold is undoubtedly worse.  And I experienced something I've never experience before. 

I had been sneezing and blowing my nose all morning, when suddenly I had a nose bleed.  Not from the inside, but because I managed to tear the skin on the outside of my nose.  It bled copiously*.  And of course because I kept sneezing and having to blow my nose, it stayed open and kept bleeding.

And at the same time, my work computer locked up because it had been inactive for 5 minutes, and I couldn't hit Ctrl+Alt+Del because I had one hand stuck to my face trying to stop the bleeding.

It eventually stopped, but every time I sneeze I expect it to start up again.  Could be an interesting night.

* like that time in school when JB slashed my nose with the blade out of a pencil sharpener.  Schooldays being the best days of your life and all that.  Who ever said that didn't go to a Secondary School in East Kilbride.
