Last one!

But couldn't reist after some positive comments yesterday. This is a photograph of a letter - it's a photocopy of a letter as unfortunately the nice people at Lancashire County Records Office wouldnt let me keep the original.

Nonetheless, it's a letter written by one of my ancestors, Brian, in 1643 asking to be released from prison. He was arrested for preaching a catholic mass (at a time that catholicism was being forced underground) and seemingly had a pretty rough time where a combination of the treatment that he received and his own piousness meant that he truly suffered, and he died shortly after being released in 1644.
