Trop Rock

A lazy sleep in this morning followed by a fabulous (complimentary) breakfast. Caught up on some emails then we went for a run. Should have known when we got to the state park we'd need to pay, but didn't think to take any cash with us! So slightly shorter run than we'd planned, but good enough and it was starting to get hot anyway.
Explored the old town, read some kindle (that's a luxury we've not indulged in for some time) and all of a sudden it was happy hour! Free wine, beer, spirits, cheese n crackers, chicken wings, savoury pastries...yes, free!! This inn is amazing.
Rounded off the evening listening to a band on the waterfront playing "trop rock" style music - music made popular by Jimmy Buffet (Margueritaville) and Jim Morris - loved it, just perfect in the tropical warm night air, atmosphere and buzz of this place. Quite intoxicating....and I don't mean in the alcoholic sense!
