Abstract Thursday: Autumn Abstract

This blip evolved rather than being planned.

As it's the first Thursday of the month, Ingeborg has left us free to choose our own Abstract Thursday theme. I started off with a photo of the vertical "stripes" of a central heating radiator (well, I had been working on them last week so they were still in my mind!). Then I duplicated the photo and rotated one copy 90 degrees before overlaying them in Photoshop. But it looked very boring so I added a blurry photo of a pile of autumn leaves as an extra layer, playing with the layer blending options until it gave an effect I was reasonably happy with!

I don't usually do geometrical abstracts but I decided that this would do for today.
