Car Trails

As the season has started for the Photographic Society in Edinburgh I usually go in earlier to do some photography in an urban setting to make for a change. These car trails were taken at the Crewe Road South/Quality Street Junction on the border between Davidson's Mains and Stockbridge. For the first time I used the bulb setting on my camera as the exposure indicated a shutter speed long that 30 seconds and used the stopwatch on my iPhone to shoot at about 50 seconds. Unfortunately roadside trails tend to be rather wide and blurry. it is usually much better if you can shoot from above.
