Ridges

A day of rest. I am not much of a TV watcher. I do like my sports, but prefer to be out doing them or watching them live rather than watching TV. Streaming services like Netflix, Stan, YouTube Red, Google Play, Foxtel Now and Amazon Prime are more to my preference, finding a show and watching it when I want rather than being forced to watch on a certain day and time, plus no advertisements. While I prefer the streaming services, I’ve never really had enough time to watch too much of it. That is until now, where I've had some time to finally watch Game of Thrones, totally caught up and enjoyed it. Grand Tour, really really enjoyed that. The new star trek series, also really enjoying that too. So today I started watching series 3 of Mr Robot, so far this is the series I have enjoyed the most. I know a lot of people have gone crazy over GoT, and I am not saying it was terrible, the story, the production values, the acting etc. are all fantastic. However there is some about Mr Robot, that just works for me.

Mum has gone home today for a few days, and my Sister is arriving to look after me for the weekend. Looking forward to having my sis around.

This photo is something I hinted at a few days ago and may not be recognised at first. But it is in line with my current thing for patterns. This is my skin, around the ankle after removing the compression bandages. They leave quite the impression, and they are capable of reducing the swelling. Elevation, compression and ice are all working; my physio would be pleased.

Hope my sister can help get my cameras out of storage. Something mum hasn't been too keen to do. Not having a real camera around makes me feel naked. The iPhone is capable, and I am not complaining, but I can not wait to have a DSLR or mirrorless camera back in my hands. What I think Mum is worried about, is I may get too adventurous with a camera in hand, she could be right. Ohhh well, shouldn't be too hard to convince my sister to reach up onto my top shelf and pull out the camera boxes. One thing a broken leg does is muck around with your balance meaning things up high and down low becoming challenging to reach.
